The General Union of Voluntary Societies has established twelve daytime centers for children with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities in various governorates, including The capital, Irbid, Zarqa, Ajloun, Madaba, Balqa, Ma’an, and Mafraq, with a capacity of 50 children’s capacity. The General Union of Voluntary Societies assumed the management and direct operation of these centers for children with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities for several years. Subsequently, the responsibility for these centers was transferred to specialized charitable associations in the field of disabilities. This decision aimed at enhancing their capacities and enabling them to actively contribute to the local community.
