Balqa Governorate Charitable Societies Union
The Balqa Governorate Charitable Societies Union was established in 1979, and operates within the network of governorate unions under the umbrella of the General Union.

Striving for a charitable community that is socially and economically secure, in cooperation with the relevant partners.
Message
Advancing the coordination, supervision and guidance role, and providing material and moral support to the societies of Balqa Governorate to achieve shared social goals and enhance participation in the comprehensive development process in the governorate.
Objectives & Tasks
- Overseeing the common interests of the charitable societies affiliated with the Union, and guiding and directing them toward their shared goals.
- Coordinating the efforts of the member societies, improving the level of their services, and encouraging the establishment of new societies in its area of work to provide other social services the governorate needs.
- Setting the general policy for the shared services among its constituent societies.
- Resolving disputes that arise between societies.
- Acting as the link between the affiliated societies and government bodies, particularly the Ministry of Social Development represented by the development directorates in Balqa Governorate, regarding general policy and funding.
- Societies commit to the Union's directives and the general policy it sets, and contribute, according to their capabilities, to the joint projects the Union decides to undertake.
- Providing the General Union of Voluntary Societies in Jordan with the information, data and statistics required to coordinate societies' efforts and social services and unify them across the Kingdom.
- Providing financial assistance to its affiliated societies within its means.
- Each society affiliated with the Union submits its annual report in three copies to the Union's office, which forwards it to the competent departments.

- Annual General Assembly membership subscriptions and one-time affiliation fees
- Support provided by the General Union of Voluntary Societies
- Support provided by the Ministry of Social Development
- Gifts, endowments and fundraising
- Returns from investment and productive projects, courses, seminars and workshops
- Proceeds from charity events
- Any other resources approved by the Board that comply with the law and regulations
