The General Union of Charitable Societies, represented by its President, Amer Khawaldeh, members of the Union's Board of Directors, heads of charitable society federations in the governorates, and all those working in the charitable and volunteer sector, congratulated His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein on the anniversary of his accession to the throne. They prayed to God Almighty that this cherished national occasion would return to His Majesty with continued health and well-being, and to the nation with further progress and prosperity.
President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Amer Khawaldeh, stated that the anniversary of the King's accession to the throne is a bright national milestone, a time to reflect on the significant achievements made in various political, economic, social, and developmental fields during the reign of His Majesty King Abdullah II. He noted that His Majesty has led the nation with wisdom and competence, solidifying Jordan's regional and international standing, despite the challenges and changes witnessed in the region and the world.
He added that His Majesty has placed the Jordanian people at the forefront of development priorities, working to strengthen the comprehensive reform and modernization process, and launching initiatives aimed at improving the standard of living for citizens, empowering youth and women, and supporting local communities, thus contributing to building a brighter future for generations to come.
Al-Khawaldeh noted that the charitable and volunteer sector has received continuous royal attention and support. Royal directives supporting humanitarian and social work have served as an incentive for associations and volunteer organizations to continue their noble mission of serving the community and promoting the values of social solidarity and mutual support.
He affirmed that charitable associations in various governorates of the Kingdom continue to play their developmental and humanitarian role as active partners in the comprehensive development process. They draw their vision from the Hashemite approach, which is based on giving and serving humanity, and work with a spirit of national responsibility to translate royal directives into programs and projects that contribute to improving the living conditions of targeted groups.
He explained that the anniversary of the King's accession to the throne coincides with several cherished national occasions that embody the journey of the Jordanian state and its achievements. It also presents an opportunity to renew loyalty and allegiance to the Hashemite leadership and to take pride in the national accomplishments that have strengthened Jordan's resilience, stability, and national unity.
Al-Khawaldeh concluded by emphasizing that the General Union of Charitable Societies and all charitable work institutions will remain loyal to the message of the nation and its leadership, continuing to perform their national and humanitarian duty, and renewing their pledge of allegiance to His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, asking God Almighty to keep Jordan safe and stable, and to perpetuate the blessings of security, safety, progress and prosperity under the wise Hashemite leadership.
