General Union of Charitable Societies: We support the King's positions and defend Jordan's stability
The General Union of Charitable Societies affirmed in a statement its firm support for the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein and its absolute support for the efforts made by His Majesty in defending national and nationalist issues.
The head of the temporary administrative body of the union, Nasser Al-Shraideh, said that the union categorically rejects the recent statements calling for the displacement of Gaza residents to neighboring countries, considering them a blatant attack on the historical rights of the Palestinian people and an unacceptable attempt to liquidate the Palestinian cause at the expense of the stability of the region.
He added that the General Union of Charitable Societies supports the firm positions of His Majesty the King, which he emphasized in the "Three No's", stressing that Jordan, with its wise Hashemite leadership, will not be part of any solutions that do not serve its national interests.
He referred to what His Majesty the King emphasized in the Throne Speech before the National Assembly, when he said: "We are a state with a solid identity, which does not gamble with its future and preserves its Hashemite heritage and its Arab and humanitarian affiliation. Jordan's future will not be subject to policies that do not serve its interests or deviate from its principles.
The Union called on all national forces to unite and stand as one behind His Majesty the King's leadership and confront any attempts targeting Jordan's security and stability, stressing that the awareness of the Jordanian people and their keenness on the interest of the homeland are the basic guarantee to protect Jordan from any threats.
May God protect Jordan, its people and its wise leadership.
