Productive Projects for Charitable Societies

The project aims to fund productive projects run and owned by charitable societies, to provide new job opportunities in addition to those provided by national development projects through the official and private sectors, to alleviate poverty and unemployment and their negative effects on social security, to raise the efficiency of the beneficiary charitable societies, and to activate their role in the local community.

• Funding body: an interest-free loan from the Development and Employment Fund to the General Union of Voluntary Societies.
• Number of beneficiary societies: 10 charitable societies
• Number of projects: 10 productive projects.
• Implementation area: all governorates of the Kingdom.
