Establishing the Al-Amal Center for Healing Hospital (formerly; now the King Hussein Cancer Center)

The General Union of Voluntary Societies adopted the establishment and construction of a specialized medical center for treating cancer patients from Jordanians and fellow Arabs. Al-Amal Center Hospital is one of the most prominent charitable projects at the national, regional and international levels. It was handed over to the King Hussein Cancer Foundation to manage and supervise, under the slogan: "The owner is the Jordanian citizen, and the funder is all of us."
