Women's Economic Empowerment Project "For You We Work"

The project aims to empower and strengthen women's capacities in Russeifa District to improve their living conditions, and comes within the economic empowerment program adopted by the society to help improve life for families by enhancing the productivity of women and girls in poor families. The society designed a set of activities to achieve this goal and raise awareness of the importance of small income-generating projects, to improve protection services and livelihoods through vocational training in preparation for entering the labor market and becoming self-reliant. The project was designed and submitted to the General Union after studying market needs and the target groups' desire in the Russeifa area.

- Project activities: -

1 – A 13-day training course, 4 hours per day: henna drawing, manicure and pedicure. The training covers henna drawing, nail diseases and their treatment, nail cutting and shaping, skin cleansing, moisturizing and care, and nail coloring, in addition to courses in online marketing for the trainees, for 20 women. A training kit will be purchased for each participant to start her project and use during the training period.

2 – A 12-day training course, 4 hours per day: photography. The project will include comprehensive training in photography for 10 women, covering control of night-photo balance, setting light readings, how to isolate part of an image and produce professional backgrounds, and using software to edit photos on the computer.
