The Federation of Associations participates in the workshop on activating trust and good governance.
The Federation of Charitable Societies, represented by its President, Dr. Atef Odaibat, and the Director General of the Federation and Lottery, Khalil Al Qubaisi, participated in the activities of the training workshop entitled “Partnership with a New Concept: Activating Trust and Good Governance,” which was organized by the Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD) and the Jordanian National Alliance for Non-Governmental Organizations (JONAF) at the Marriott Hotel. Dead Sea .
Adaibat stressed the importance of such workshops in strengthening partnerships between all stakeholders to achieve sustainable development, which in turn leads to positive societal change, confronting challenges, and defining roles between stakeholders and the local community to serve the public interest.
He appreciated the efforts of those in charge of this workshop, which emphasize the importance of participating in volunteer work and public life through developing skills and capabilities and encouraging the private sector to support civil society to create a local financing environment, with the need to raise media awareness of the importance of civil society.
It is noteworthy that the workshop included a number of working papers presented by the main advisor at the Durrat Al-Manal Foundation for Development and Training and a member of the administrative body of the Jonav Alliance, Dr. Sawsan Al-Majali, the Executive Director of the Arab Renaissance (Ard), Samar Muhareb, and a number of representatives of institutions and ministries concerned with this field.
