The temporary administrative body of the General Federation of Charitable Societies decided during a meeting, today, Sunday, to allocate an amount of 60 thousand dinars to the federations in the governorates. To distribute it to poor and needy families. The head of the temporary committee of the federation, Dr. Atef Odaibat, said that an amount of 5,000 dinars had been allocated to each federation in the 12 governorates, indicating that this amount comes as a way to help and support the federations in the governorates, to enable them to achieve their goals and mission in serving their local communities, in particular Helping poor and needy families, during the period before Eid Al-Adha. He stated that this aid aims to reach the largest possible number of poor segments, calling for the aid to be delivered to those who deserve it according to the approved principles through a database for these families. He stressed the General Union's keenness to support federations of associations in the governorates and association projects in order to carry out their mission and contribute to rehabilitation, training, employment and achieving sustainable development. He pointed out that since the beginning of this year, the Union has signed 3 agreements with associations to support their projects in the field of economic empowerment and developing women’s skills to benefit them and their families.
