A meeting discusses the partnership between the Aqaba Economic Zone Authority and the Union of Charitable Societies
The head of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, Aqaba, Nayef Hamidi Al-Fayez, discussed with the President of the General Union of Charitable Societies and the Jordanian Environment Society, Dr. Atef Odhaibat: Mechanisms of joint cooperation in the field of various programs.
Al-Fayez stressed that the Authority has achieved its goals within the royal vision and has become a model of which we are proud at the local and global levels, indicating that the Authority is working together in partnership with all the nation’s institutions to advance the Aqaba region to remain an investment and tourism attraction to achieve the public interest and provide infrastructure services there, noting that consideration of the file will be studied. The land allocated to the Union of Charitable Societies in Aqaba and take the appropriate decision regarding it.
In turn, Adibat said that the General Union is keen to enhance partnership between many agencies and institutions, including the Aqaba Special Region Authority, to establish joint activities and purposeful initiatives.
He praised the Authority's cooperation and support for development work, its interest in the environmental sector, and its support for the activities of the annual Environmental Week organized by the Environment Society in Aqaba.
He also praised the Authority’s continued support for the Association and the success of the activities of the Tenth Environmental Tourism Week, which was organized by the Association within its initiative “Our Tourism and Our Environment is Worth it,” on the occasion of World Tourism Day, and in cooperation with its regional branch in Aqaba and a number of institutions and initiative holders.
The meeting was attended by the Commissioner of Youth and Entrepreneurship at the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, Ramzi Al-Kabariti
President of the Federation of Charitable Societies in Aqaba, Ali Al-Ahiwat, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordanian Environmental Society, Ali Freihat.
