The General Union of Charitable Societies expressed its great pride and appreciation for Jordanian scientist Dr. Omar Yaghi on his well-deserved win of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, in recognition of his global scientific achievements that have elevated Jordan's name in international forums.
General Union President Amer Khawaldeh emphasized that this achievement embodies the values of creativity and excellence inherent in Jordanians and is a result of the scientific and knowledge-based environment supported by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein and His Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, may God protect them.
He said, "We are proud of the scientist Dr. Omar Yaghi, who has represented Jordan in the global scientific arena and proven that the nation's people are capable of innovation in all fields."
He emphasized that this victory is a victory for every Jordanian and a message of hope for future generations that science and giving are the path to renaissance and progress.
