The President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Amer Khawaldeh, met with His Majesty's Advisor for Tribal Affairs, Kanaan Al-Balawi, to discuss ways to support charitable societies and enhance their national role in serving citizens and meeting the needs of local communities across the Kingdom's governorates.
During the meeting, held on Sunday and attended by members of the administrative board and several heads of federations, Khawaldeh emphasized the importance of volunteer work as a cornerstone in strengthening the values of solidarity and fostering a sense of community. He noted the Union's commitment to continuing its humanitarian and social role, in line with royal directives to support the most vulnerable groups.
The President and members of the Union conveyed their greetings and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, affirming their continued dedication to charitable work under the Hashemite banner.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Union presented an award to His Majesty's Advisor for Tribal Affairs in recognition of his efforts in supporting charitable work in the Kingdom.
