The Union of Charitable Societies of Karak Governorate was established in (1969).
Vision: To achieve a gradual transition from the concept of sustainable social care through developing the mechanisms of charitable societies' work and upgrading it to an institutional work capable and effective to serve the nation and the citizen and enhance the values of volunteer work to achieve a state of harmony and social solidarity.
Mission: To advance volunteer work in Karak Governorate with all its elements to provide the best services, programs and activities to the user groups.
Coordinating the efforts of associations in Karak Governorate and contributing to planning social policy at the national level.
Developing the general policy for the work of charitable associations within the scope of the law.
Implementing development programmes and projects in cooperation with official and voluntary institutions.
Building institutional capacities of charitable associations and providing them with financial and technical support.
Providing a database for voluntary social work in the Kingdom.
