The Union of Voluntary Societies of Al-Balqa Governorate

The Union of Charitable Societies of Balqa Governorate was established in 1979.

Vision: Striving for a charitable society that is socially and economically safe in cooperation with the concerned partners.

Mission: Raising the level of coordination, supervision, guidance, and material and moral support for the associations of Balqa Governorate to achieve common social goals and enhance contribution to the comprehensive development process in the governorate.

Supervising the common interests of the charitable societies that have joined the Union, and guiding and directing them to achieve their common goals.

Coordinating the efforts of the associations that have joined the union, working to improve the level of their services, and encouraging the establishment of new associations in its business area to provide other social services that the governorate needs.

Developing the general policy for shared services among its constituent associations.

Resolving any disputes that arise between associations.

The Federation shall be the liaison between the associations that have joined it and the government agencies, especially the Ministry of Social Development, represented by the development directorates in Balqa Governorate, with regard to general policy and funding.

Associations shall abide by the Union’s directives and the general policy it sets, and shall contribute, according to their capabilities, to the joint projects that the Union decides to undertake.

Providing the General Union of Charitable Societies in Jordan with the information, data and statistics required to coordinate the efforts of associations and social services, and unify them throughout the Kingdom.

Providing financial assistance to the associations that join it within its capabilities.

Each association affiliated with the Federation shall submit its annual report in three copies to the Federation’s office, to be submitted to the relevant departments.

  • Returns on investment and production projects, courses, seminars and workshops
