The Union of Charitable Societies of Aqaba Governorate was established in (1994).
Vision: Leadership, creativity and initiative in performance to provide services and programs to the community through an efficient and effective strategic system in cooperation with relevant parties
Message: Strengthening the role of charitable societies in spreading and developing the culture of charitable volunteer work and instilling the spirit of initiative, feeling and responsibility and developing the spirit of social solidarity to achieve community peace and deepen the spirit of loyalty and belonging
Coordinating the efforts of the associations affiliated with it to provide their charitable and developmental social services, and working to improve the level of their services.
Supervising, guiding and directing the common interests of the associations affiliated with it.
Developing a general policy for shared services for charitable societies
The Federation shall be the link between the associations that join it and the government associations and the Ministry of Development.
Obligating associations to adhere to the Union’s directives and policies and to contribute to joint projects decided upon by the Union.
Providing the General Federation of Charitable Societies with the required information, data and statistics.
Resolving any disputes that arise between associations and referring any that are difficult to resolve to the associations’ registry.
Establishing productive projects to provide charitable societies with revenues to cover part of their expenses.
