The Charitable Associations Union of Jerash Governorate was established in 1994.
Vision: The Union aspires to a safe, cooperative, productive, self-reliant society that works to enhance the national sense among all the people of the governorate.
Message: Promote voluntary social work, develop the capabilities of members of charitable associations and members of the local community, and contribute to improving the quality of life for the less fortunate
Supervising the common interests of the charitable societies that have joined the Union, and guiding and directing them to achieve their common goals.
Coordinating the efforts of the associations that have joined the union, working to improve the level of their services, and encouraging the establishment of new associations in its business area to provide other social services that the governorate needs.
Developing the general policy for shared services for its constituent associations.
Resolving disputes between associations
Associations shall abide by the Union’s directives and the general policy it sets, and associations shall contribute, according to their capabilities, to the joint projects that the Union decides to undertake.
Providing financial and in-kind assistance to the poor and needy
Providing financial assistance to the charitable associations that join it.
The Federation shall be the liaison between the charitable associations that have joined it and the government agencies, especially the Ministry of Social Development and its directorates in the governorate, with regard to general policy and funding.
Providing the General Union of Charitable Societies in Jordan with the information, data and statistics required to coordinate the efforts of the societies in social service, and unify them throughout the country.
