The Union of Charitable Societies of Mafraq Governorate was established in (1986).
Vision: 1- Union towards a distinguished institution in charitable work to achieve sustainable social development for Mafraq societies 2- Striving for excellence, leadership, success and achieving cooperation in a society that is characterized by security and material and moral solidarity among its people. 3- Developing and improving the performance of the Union and contributing to achieving sustainable development for charitable societies in serving the community.
Message: The Union of Charitable Societies is a voluntary institution that provides its comprehensive social services in the field of community development in order to improve the quality of charitable societies in Mafraq Governorate, through the implementation of its various future programs in productive projects, training charitable societies, humanitarian aid and initiatives, relying on a deep understanding of the needs of the societies and the presence of a team of administrative body volunteers with experience and competence to do so
Supervising the common interests of the charitable societies that have joined the Union, and guiding and directing them to achieve their common goals.
Coordinating the efforts of the associations that have joined the union, working to improve the level of their services, and encouraging the establishment of new associations in its business area to provide other social services that the governorate needs.
Developing the general policy for shared services for its constituent associations.
Resolving any disputes that arise between associations
The Federation shall be the liaison between the associations that have joined it and the government agencies, especially the Ministry of Social Development represented by its office in the Capital Governorate, with regard to general policy and funding.
Associations shall abide by the Union’s directives and the general policy it sets, and shall contribute, according to their capabilities, to the joint projects that the Union decides to undertake.
Providing the General Union of Charitable Societies in Jordan with the information, data and statistics required to coordinate the efforts of associations and social services, and unify them throughout the Kingdom.
Holding training and professional courses for associations
Providing financial and in-kind assistance to the associations that join it, and establishing productive projects.
