The President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Amer Al-Khawaldeh, met with the Director General of the Islamic Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Al-Dhanibat, to discuss mechanisms for strengthening cooperation between the two sides in the areas of training, health awareness, and community service.
Al-Khawaldeh emphasized that this meeting was a prelude to signing a cooperation agreement between the Union and the Islamic Hospital. This agreement will include the implementation of health and nutrition education programs and the provision of accredited training courses for Union staff and employees of affiliated charitable societies. These courses, to be delivered by Dr. Basem Abu Bakr, a specialist in clinical nutrition and community health, will contribute to raising their efficiency and enhancing their health knowledge.
During the meeting, which was also attended by the Vice President of the General Union and Head of the Capital Union, Dr. Barakat Barakat, and the Union's Director, Khalil Al-Qubaisi, Al-Khawaldeh highlighted the importance of building effective partnerships with leading medical institutions. He noted that this would positively impact the level of services and programs provided by charitable societies to local communities, and affirmed the Union's commitment to expanding cooperation with various national institutions.
Dr. Al-Thunaibat commended the role of the General Union of Charitable Societies in supporting social and developmental work, emphasizing the Islamic Hospital's readiness to dedicate its medical and training expertise and resources to the success of joint cooperation programs and to enhance health awareness among those working in the charitable sector and members of the community.
Both parties agreed to continue coordinating in the coming period to finalize the necessary procedures for signing the agreement and to develop a joint action plan for implementing the proposed programs and activities.
