The President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Amer Al-Khawaldeh, inaugurated the charity bazaar organized by the Basira Charitable Society at its headquarters in the district. The two-day bazaar features wide participation from women and local producers.
Al-Khawaldeh, accompanied by several members of the General Union of Charitable Societies in Tafila Governorate, the President of the Basira Charitable Society, Dr. Jihad Al-Rufu, and members of the administrative board, toured the bazaar, viewing the displays of household products, handicrafts, and food items, which demonstrated high skill and evident creativity among the participants.
Al-Khawaldeh emphasized that holding such marketing bazaars directly contributes to providing promotional outlets to support underprivileged families and women producers. He praised the developmental and social role played by charitable societies in the field, promoting self-reliance and improving the living standards of families.
For his part, the head of the Basira Charitable Society, Dr. Jihad Al-Rafou, explained that organizing the bazaar comes within the framework of the society’s keenness to consolidate its mission of empowering women and youth economically, and providing the necessary space to market local products and preserve traditional crafts, which will directly benefit the local community in the district.
