The General Union of Charitable Societies participated in the ceremony of announcing the “Path Guide” to promote economic empowerment and support small and micro enterprises, which was held by the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization in cooperation with the International Islamic Charitable Organization - State of Kuwait, in the presence of representatives of a number of partner institutions and entities.
The General Union of Charitable Societies was represented during the ceremony by the President of the Union, Amer Al Khawaldeh, and the Director General of the Union, Khalil Al Qubaisi, emphasizing the importance of partnership and cooperation between charitable and development institutions, and supporting initiatives that contribute to empowering families and individuals and enhancing their ability to implement sustainable economic projects.
The announcement of the “Masar Guide” comes as an extension of an experience developed in the State of Kuwait, to be transferred to Jordan and adapted to suit the local context and the needs of the beneficiaries, as the project aims to reach about 2,000 beneficiaries in the twelve governorates of the Kingdom.
The presence of the General Union of Charitable Societies comes within the framework of its keenness to enhance networking between charitable and development associations and institutions, and to benefit from initiatives and programs aimed at developing the capabilities of beneficiaries and empowering them economically and socially.
