The President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Amer Khawaldeh, praised the content of the speech delivered by Minister of Social Development Wafaa Bani Mustafa, representing His Royal Highness Prince Mired bin Raad, at the Qatar Summit, entitled "Integrating Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian and Crisis Contexts."
He emphasized that her remarks sincerely reflected Jordan's commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to the values of social justice and the comprehensive inclusion of persons with disabilities. He noted that the practical national experiences presented by the Minister in dealing with humanitarian crises in the region exemplify a model to be emulated in translating policies into concrete field measures that preserve human dignity and ensure equal opportunities and services.
He added that the humanitarian stances expressed in the speech regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip reflect the authentic Hashemite approach of supporting humanity and defending human dignity. He pointed out that Jordan has always been a pioneer in comprehensive relief and humanitarian work that does not discriminate between one group and another.
Khawaldeh stated that the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Social Development and the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities represent a practical embodiment of the royal vision of building an inclusive society that provides opportunities. He emphasized that this approach, which is equitable for all citizens, has made Jordan a model for the region in the field of social inclusion and comprehensive humanitarian response.
He affirmed the Union's readiness to continue working with government entities to expand community inclusion programs and disseminate Jordan's pioneering experience regionally.
