The Minister stated that the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of the Charity Lottery confirms its role in supporting the progress of the charitable and humanitarian sector and its contribution to the success of achievements, excellence, giving, enhancing participatory action, and supporting the Union to establish development and service programs.
Bani Mustafa praised the efforts of the General Union of Charitable Societies, which is considered a true supporter and supporter of all charities and less fortunate families and individuals with all available capabilities, and also its contribution to serving cooperative, humanitarian and development work through its affiliated institutions spread throughout the Kingdom.

Dr. Adibat pointed out that the Union enjoys financial and administrative independence without any allocations of any kind being allocated to it in the Jordanian state budget, as the lottery contributed to enabling the Union to implement many pioneering national projects, including the King Hussein Cancer Center, the Islamic Burial House, and the Al Amal Centers for Special Education spread throughout all governorates. The Kingdom and the investment projects of the Federation and the governorate federations, in addition to the projects presented by the Federation through the revenues of the charitable lottery and its support with large sums estimated at millions to the governorate federations and associations to enable them to manage their noble mission in charitable work.
Dr. Udaybat added that a new national project has been launched that will have tangible effects on alleviating poverty in our Jordanian society, which is the National Fund for Charitable Work, so that an amount of one million dinars is paid annually to this fund as a minimum, subject to increase, to be distributed to the least fortunate and most needy families, and its idea will be developed in cooperation with the Fund. Adibat pointed out that the Federation’s administrative body allocated an amount of 150,000 dinars, 12,500 dinars for each of the governorate’s federations, to help them bear part of their obligations, and to disburse a lump sum financial reward to all the federation’s employees, including those working in the charitable lottery, to encourage them to make the greatest possible effort. He stated that the website places all information and services easily and conveniently in the hands of its users, including following the Federation’s news and the charitable lottery, and reviewing the latest activities and developments, in addition to the goals and mission of the Federation, its partners and supporters, and the projects that have been implemented and will be implemented later.
Adibat appreciated the efforts of partners, collaborators, supporters, supporters and the media who are making a great effort to highlight the activities and programs of the Union and the groups that worked in the honorable fields of volunteer, charitable and humanitarian work, indicating that on the sidelines of the celebration they will be honored in appreciation of their efforts.
The heads of the Federation of Charitable Societies in the Governorates praised the efforts made by the General Federation in providing support and assistance to the federations.
