The Federation of Charitable Societies and the Hashemite Charity Organization discuss the implementation of the "Deirtna" project
On Monday, the General Federation of Charitable Societies discussed mechanisms for cooperation and coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) to implement the "Deirtna" project, part of the Clothing Bank.
This came during a meeting held at the Federation's headquarters, attended by a delegation from the JHCO, several members of the administrative board, the Federation's Director General, Khalil Al-Qubaisi, and the Director of Federations and Societies, Reham Al-Amayreh.
The Federation's President, Amer Al-Khawaldeh, indicated in a statement that the meeting aimed to advance charitable and development work in the Kingdom, improve the quality of services provided to target groups, and secure clothing for members of underprivileged Jordanian families.
He explained that cooperation will be implemented with the governorate federations by providing volunteer human resources and training them on work mechanisms. This will also include opening mobile centers to send clothing parcels to various districts and governorates of the Kingdom, with the aim of facilitating citizens' access to services.
The meeting emphasized the importance of unifying efforts and activating institutional partnerships to achieve a positive impact. Sustainable, and enhances the capacity of grassroots organizations to fulfill their humanitarian and developmental roles.
The meeting reviewed existing projects and future initiatives that could be implemented in partnership, particularly those targeting less fortunate communities, while emphasizing the need to adhere to standards of transparency and fairness in aid distribution.
