Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa emphasized the importance of partnerships with the volunteer sector in providing social services to targeted groups.
During her meeting with the President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Amer Al-Khawaldeh, and members of the administrative body on Monday at the ministry's headquarters, Bani Mustafa indicated that the meeting reflects the ministry's approach to communicating with representatives of the charitable sector, with the aim of constantly listening to their opinions and comments, and overcoming obstacles and challenges to enable it to continue fulfilling its humanitarian mission and desired role.
She explained that the National Center for Autism, the Ramtha Comprehensive Center for Inclusive Services, and the Early Intervention Center have been established in cooperation with the Zarqa and Irbid Federations.
She stated that the ministry continues to support sustainable projects and stimulate productivity in the charitable sector, with the aim of providing new job opportunities and empowering the volunteer sector. She indicated that the ministry is receiving applications to establish productive projects for charitable organizations, which will improve and develop the services provided and contribute to the advancement of the volunteer sector. For their part, the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the General Union of Charitable Societies pointed out the importance of the ongoing partnership with the Ministry in implementing social programs that serve local communities and positively impact the groups benefiting from the services provided by charitable societies.
